Problems in a shared space
Report and track repairs for a kitchen, laundry or other area shared by rooms.
In a house rented by the room, the thing that breaks is often shared: the kitchen, the washer, the yard. A request can be about the shared space itself, not just one room.

Report one yourself
Go to Maintenance, click New Task and open Unit or shared space. You'll see a Units group and a Shared spaces group. Pick the space and fill in the rest as usual. See Create a task yourself.
In lists, a space shows with its house, like "Main kitchen, Main house". To see everything about one space, filter the request list by Unit or space.
What tenants see
A tenant in a room sees What is it about on the request form, with My room and the shared spaces linked to their room. They can also see, but not change, requests their housemates have filed on those spaces, marked as filed by another tenant.
Who gets told
When a shared space request changes status, every current tenant of the rooms linked to that space gets their own email. While quiet mode is on, those emails are held back.
