Applications

Review an application

Read what the applicant told you and decide whether to ask for more.

A renter's first answers are short on purpose. Have a quick look and decide whether they're worth a full application.

What you see

Click a card on the board for a summary, or click Open full application page for everything. You'll see:

  • Their name, email and when they applied.
  • Their current address, employment status, monthly income and desired move-in date.
  • How many people will live there.
  • Whether they have pets, and what kind.
  • Any message they left you.

Pets next to your policy

If the unit has a pets policy and the applicant's answer doesn't match it, the card shows a small note, like "Policy: Cats only. Applicant: 1 dog."

It's just a heads-up. It doesn't block anything and it isn't a ruling, and if the applicant's wording is unclear, you won't see a note at all. The decision's yours.

Next step

On a Received card, click Mark as considering to move it to Pre-screening Review.

Like what you see? Click Request full application. See Request the full application.

Not a fit? Choose a reason and click Decline Application. See Approve or decline.

Already sure? Skip to full application request sends the request straight from Received.
