Submit a maintenance request
How tenants log maintenance issues from their portal.
Submitting a request
From the tenant portal, go to Maintenance and click New request.
Fill in:
- Title — a short description (e.g. "Kitchen tap dripping").
- Details — describe the problem in full, including when it started.
- Priority — choose Urgent only for issues affecting safety or habitability.
- Photos — upload photos of the issue if possible. This helps your landlord assess and respond faster.
Click Submit. Your request is immediately visible to your landlord's team.
Checking request status
All your submitted requests appear in the Maintenance section. Each shows its current status:
- Open — received, not yet reviewed.
- In progress — your landlord or their team is working on it.
- On hold — paused, e.g. waiting on parts or scheduling.
- Completed — work has been finished.
- Cancelled — request withdrawn or no longer needed.
When to mark urgent
Use urgent only for:
- No heat or hot water
- Water leaks or flooding
- Broken entry door locks or windows
- Electrical hazards
- Pest infestations
For non-emergency issues, use a lower priority so your landlord can schedule repairs appropriately.
