Tenant Portal

Accessing the portal

How tenants sign in and navigate the tenant portal.

Getting access

Tenants receive portal access when their landlord sends them an invitation. The invitation arrives by email with a link to create an account or sign in.

Once signed in, tenants land on their portal dashboard showing their current unit, upcoming rent, and recent activity.

Signing in

Tenants sign in at the same URL as the main app. Their account is limited to the tenant portal — they cannot see your workspace, other properties, or other tenants.

Sign-in options are the same as for landlord accounts:

  • Email and password
  • Magic link (passwordless)
  • Google, Apple, or Microsoft (where enabled)

What tenants can access

SectionWhat they can do
DashboardSee their current tenancy summary, lease status, and upcoming payments
DocumentsReview and sign their lease, and download a copy once signed
PaymentsSee rent history, current balance, and upcoming due date
MaintenanceSubmit new requests and check status of existing ones
ApplicationsView their rental application status
InspectionsView move-in/move-out inspection reports

Losing access

When a tenancy ends, the tenant's portal access for that unit is removed. They no longer see lease or payment information for the ended tenancy.

Sharing the portal link

You can share the portal URL directly with tenants. The portal URL is the same as your app's base URL — tenants sign in and are automatically directed to their portal view.
