Manage units
Add, edit, and configure rentable units within a property.
Adding a unit
Open a property and click Add unit. Provide:
- Unit identifier — a number, letter, or descriptive name (e.g. "101", "Suite B", "Basement").
- Bedrooms / bathrooms — used in listings and lease documents.
- Rent amount — the intended monthly rent.
- Square footage — optional, for reference.
Unit statuses
Each unit shows one of five statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | No active lease or tenant |
| Rent ready | Vacant and ready to be leased |
| Occupied | Has an active lease and tenant |
| Maintenance | Temporarily unavailable for repairs/work |
| Unavailable | Not currently rentable |
Editing a unit
Click into a unit and select Edit unit to update its details. Changes do not affect existing signed leases.
Deleting a unit
A unit can be deleted as long as it has no active or draft leases attached. End or remove those leases first if you need to delete the unit.
Listing visibility
Each unit has a listing access mode: Public (shown on public listing pages), Private (not listed), or Invite-only. Set this from the unit's settings.
Multiple units
A property can have an unlimited number of units. Each unit is independently manageable — separate leases, separate payment histories, and separate tenant portals.
