The file library
Keep leases, receipts, insurance and other documents in one organized place.
Stop digging through your email for the insurance certificate. Upload a document once, tag it, and you'll find it again in seconds. Open Files in the sidebar.
Upload a file
Click Upload File, then Click to select a file.
Check the Document name, then choose the Scope: Workspace (org-wide), Property, Unit or Lease. For a property, unit or lease, pick which one.
Choose the Type (lease, receipt, insurance, tax document and so on) and the Category (legal, financial, maintenance, tenant, property or administrative).
Add a Description and Tags (separated by commas, like "hydro, 2026"), then click upload.
You can upload PDFs, Word and Excel files, CSV and text files, and images (PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP), up to 10 MB each. Scoping a file to a lease makes it easy to find again from that lease.
Find and use a file
The Files page shows your totals, Recent Uploads and a count By Category. Click View Library (or Browse all) to see All Files, with each file's name, who added it, its scope, type, category, size, upload date and tags.
Added by shows a person's name, or System for files OneRental made for you. Those are locked. See Locked files and why.
Click a name to open the file in a new tab, or click the ... on a row to View File, Download, Edit Details or Delete. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone.
